Dryer Ball Workshop at Extension Office By Tony Rose A Dryer Ball Workshop will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service. Time for workshop will be 6pmCT to 7:30pmCT at the Extension Office located at 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. Cost of the workshop is $30 per participants. To register for workshop contact the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service at 270-384-2317. Registration deadline is August 26, 2019.Kentucky Proud Shetland wool will be used to create a set of dryer balls. Each participant will use washed wool, learn to hand card wool, and create dryer balls. Participants will leave the workshop with a set of dryer balls ready to wash, dry and begin using in their daily laundry. Educational programs of Kentucky Cooperative Extension serve all people regardless of economic or social status and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, national origin, creed, religion, political belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, marital status, genetic information, age, veteran status, or physical or mental disability.
