Gene C. Royalty, 89, Jamestown, KY (1929-2019)

Gene worked tirelessly his entire life to enrich and change the world around him. Most recently, he brought hundreds of jobs and commerce to Russell County through the realization of the Industrial Park in Russell Springs, KY. He gave his personal life the same dedication as he did in his business life. He has been loved by many and will be missed by all.

Gene C. Royalty of Jamestown, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He was 89 years old.

A memorial service will be held at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY, on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 1pmCT to 3pmCT. There will be no burial service at that time.


Gene C. Royalty was born on September 13, 1929. He was born to and preceded in death by Holly and Emma Royalty in Mercer County, KY. His brother Huntley preceded Gene as well.

Gene is survived by:
  • His wife Millie C. Royalty
  • Two sons, Alan and Mark
  • Two step-children, Timothy and Susan
  • Seven grand-children
  • Four great-grandchildren
