Letter: Pension politics raises questions Ann Pearson writes: Maybe I just don't know who things work but why are taxpayer funds going to fund government employees pensions? If I want a pension I have to pay into it and that's it, if I don't put into it then I don't have anything. Why are excess funds that could be used in our schools and other such needful places going to pay pensions for those who have more money than most tax payers in the first place? What happened to their money? Was it mismanaged, lost? If so why do we pay it back?Comments re article 105212 Legislature to hear pension bills from Democrats and Republicans This story was posted on 2019-07-21 12:29:55
