Green Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Wed 10 July 2019

Indictments brought against 8 individuals from Hardyville, Magnolia, Greensburg, Campbellsville, and Columbia, KY, on charges including burglary, theft, trafficking, and tampering with physical evidence.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 10 July 2019:


  • Vernon O. Williams, Liberty Lawson Rd., Hardyville, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00038. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contct with victim/premises.

  • Harry A. Brown, III, Sand Ridge Rd., Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00039. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by deception, include cold checks under $10,000. Count 3 - Theft by failure to make required disposition of property $500<$10,000. Bond set at $1,000, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Derek L. Whitlock, Ivy Lane, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00040. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, under $10,000. Count 2 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Brittany A. Milby, Hwy 88, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00041-001. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $500 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Justin E. Groover, Whitewood Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00041-002. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $250 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Joshua Judd, Penitentiary Bend Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00042-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or greater offense, <2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Dustin J. Jones, Shady Lane, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00042-002. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or greater offense, <2g methamphetamine. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Jessica S. Jones, Marvin Jones Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00042-003. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 5 - Possession of marijuana. Count 6 - Operating vehicle with expired operators license. Count 7 - Failure to produce insurance card. Count 8 - Failure to wear seat belts. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
