Thelma Johnson, 77, Cumberland County, KY (1041-2019) Thelma Johnson, 77, of Burkesville, KY died Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital. Funeral Service - Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 12noonCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Guthrie Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation after 2pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Thelma was born October 10, 1941 in Wayne County to the late Henry Fred & Syrilda Ann Young West. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, McKenley Johnson, one daughter, Joyce Ann Johnson, one brother, James West, and one sister, Ruby Decker. She was a member of Albany Full Gospel Church and a homemaker. Survivors Include: Three Sons - Gary (Patricia) Johnson, Larry (Betsy) Johnson & Ray Johnson all of Burkesville, KY Two Brothers - John West of North Carolina & Claude West of Hickman, KY Three Sisters - Peggy Uzzle of Hickman, KY, Melissa East of London, KY & Connie Antle of Monticello, KY Seven Grandchildren - Haley (Justin) Tudor, Dalton (Sarah) Johnson, Kimberly (Bryant) Johnson, Timothy (Shawnda) Johnson, Larry (Kalisha) Johnson, Aaron Johnson & Skyler Kern Three Great-Grandchildren - Milas Smith, Cason Tudor & Tailee Johnson One Expected Great-Grandchildren - McKenley Johnson Several other relatives & friends also survive Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
