Another new class begins Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 10amCT at the LWC Holloway Health and Wellness Center. This is one of several exercise programs in the area, intended for those who are unable to do more strenuous activities. Gentle Yoga For All (Chair Exercise) provides a fitness program for anyone whose physical activity is limited due to age, disability or any chronic conditions, like arthritis and joint pain. The emphasis of the program is proper breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques. The theme is "Motion is lotion for joints." And the mantra is "no pain and no strain - if it hurts stop." For more information about how to be part of this class, call 270-403-0017. There is no additional cost to those who already are members of the Wellness Center. For non-members, the fee is five visits for $35 and allows for class attendance plus all other areas of the facility. This story was posted on 2019-06-22 19:55:06
