Fireworks at Adair Fairgrounds to be July 4th at dark By Bridget Compton Adair County Fiscal Court Clerk We are so pleased to announce the upcoming fireworks show that will be held at the Lindsey Wilson College/Fairgrounds starting just after dark on the Fourth of July. This is the third year that this Pyrotechnics company has been hired to put on the show for Adair County. Per their contract, no on will be allowed in the fairgrounds for parking or viewing. There will be free parking on a first-come, first served basis at Lindsey Wilson College, Green River Window and Door, and at the Adair County Extension office. Please be thoughtful of those who allow us to use their facilities and remember to remove any trash from the parking areas after the fireworks display. Public safety arrangements will be provided by the Columbia-Adair County Volunteer Fire Department and the Adair County Sheriff's Department. We would like to thank all of our sponsors: the Adair County Fiscal Court, the City of Columbia, Lindsey Wilson College, the Bank of Columbia, Community Trust Bank, United Citizens Bank, and First and Farmers National Bank who enable us to enjoy this Fourth of July fireworks show and celebrate together as a community.
