Partly sunny, partly stormy, high 85F

It's currently 70F at the Adair County Mesonet station, and it's going to be a rainy week. Thunderstorms today and tonight will produce briefly heavy rainfall. Otherwise it will be partly sunny today, with a high near 85F.

Expect partly cloudy skies overnight, with a low around 69F. Rounds of thunderstorms will continue into Tuesday along and south of a frontal boundary over the Ohio Valley.

Additional thunderstorms are expected Wednesday and Thursday as the next weather system approaches our area. Still more storms are in the forecast from late Friday through the weekend.

Localized flooding is possible if heavy rain falls repeatedly in the same locations, and strong wind gusts are expected during thunderstorms.
