Heavy rains caused a one-vehicle accident in Taylor County From Larry Smith, General Manager, the Big Dawg radio Sgt. Dickens of the Taylor County Sheriff's Department investigated a single vehicle collision that occurred on south Hwy 55 Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 6:24pmET. Accocrding to investigation and statements provided, unit one was traveling south. The driver, Clarissa Grimes, 32, of Campbellsville stated due to wet road conditions, the vehicle began to hydroplane and she lost control. The vehicle crossed the north bound lane and left the roadway. It struck an earth embankment and overturned. The driver and two juvenile passengers were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Taylor County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
