Parnell Commercial Driving School opens at Mister P

By Linda Waggeneer

The Mister "P" Express family is proud to announce the opening of the Parnell Commercial Driving School, a certified CDL program and commercial driving school. The state-of-the-art training center on its 35-acre campus in River Ridge, Jeffersonville, IN, will allow for up to a hundred students at a time.

Adair County native Allan Parnell, founder and chairman of Mister "P" Express, and his daughter, President and CEO of Mister "P" Express, Cynthia Parnell Collier, started the driver training school in 2006 and as it grew, they determined the training school would expand to fill a need in the trucking industry market.

Their statistics show a driver shortage across America that numbers a hundred thousand jobs going unfilled for the lack of certified professional, safe drivers ready to move merchandise.

After enrolling, starting with a simple phone call to 1-800-844-1060 Ext 3, students will start in the classroom, move up to training on a simulator and then graduate to the driver's position behind the wheel of the signature Mister "P" Express big red rigs.

A driver can begin earning an income around five weeks after enrollment.

Mister “P” has several financing options available and they have programs for everyone.

CDL testing is provided for class A, B, and C vehicles. CDL test services are offered for: tractor trailers, straight trucks, dump trucks, utility vehicles, buses, and other commercial vehicles. Rental vehicles are available upon request.

A commercial driving license of any kind can be obtained in the Parnell commercial driving school.

Pre-enrollment requirements include: be at least 22 years of age, have a satisfactory motor vehicle record, have a DOT drug screen and physical, and pass a background check.

To begin exploring a career as a certified driver, call 24 hours a day seven days a week 1-800-844-1060, Ext 3, or visit www.misterpexpress.com/drive.
