KSP Post 15 Monthly Activity Report for May 2019

During the month of May 2019, there were 20 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.

During the month of May 2019, there were
  • 1203 Citations Written
  • 344 Courtesy Notices Written
  • 1660 Vehicles Inspected
  • 607 Complaints Answered
  • 84 Motorists Assisted
  • 41 Criminal Cases Opened
  • 280 Criminal Arrests Made
There were two fatal collisions during the month of May in the Post 15 area.


  • John P. Bailey, age 39 of Mercer Co KY was killed on 05/25/19 in Washington Co KY
  • Amanda K. Bailey, age 41 of Mercer Co KY was killed on 05/25/19 in Washington Co KY
  • Barbara M. Arms, age 67 of Cumberland Co KY was killed on 05/25/19 in Cumberland Co KY
  • Bobby G. Arms, age 74 of Cumberland Co KY was killed on 05/25/19 in Cumberland Co KY
This brings our yearly fatality count to 6 compared with 14 through this same period in 2018. Statewide fatality count stands at 268 compared with 266 through this same period in 2018.
