Horse Cave Hotel Slated for Renovation

The Bowling Green Daily News is reporting that city leaders in Horse Cave have secured $500,000 in state funding toward the renovation of the old Horse Cave Hotel.

The building is part of Horse Cave's Main Street Revitalization plan, and will feature a restaurant and conference rooms. The project is backed by the mayor and local businesspeople.

Are there buildings in Columbia worthy of such renovations? What sort of tourist or business attractions would you like to see as part of Columbia's downtown planning?
