Jess Frank Hinkle, 79, Russell Springs, KY (1939-2019)

Jess Frank Hinkle of Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at the UK Heathcare Hospital in Lexington. He was 79 years old.

Funeral service for Jess Frank Hinkle will be held at NoonCT on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Donald Wilson officiating and special music by Doyle & Brenda Wilson. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Sunshine.

Visitation is requsted from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Thursday, and after 8amCT on Friday until the funeral time at 12 Noon.


He was born July 29, 1939 in McQueary County to the late Clellan & Hazel Lynch Hinkle.

Jess was a night watchman at Alligator I Boat Dock.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Golda Hinkle, Russell Springs
  • Two children: Jeanene (Todd) Jasper, Russell Springs and Mark (Becky) Hinkle, Russell Springs
  • Three grandchildren: Anthony Jasper, Mason Hinkle, Olivia Hinkle
  • A great granddaughter: Lynlie Jasper
  • Three sisters: Jeanette Taylor, Cinn., Ohio, Janice Morgan, and Margaret Corder, Whitley City, Ky
  • A brother: Ray (Walena) Hinkle, Whitley City, Ky
Pallbearers: Mason Hinkle, Ronnie Whittle, Matthew Tucker, Greg Eads, Neal Luttrell, Monty Dockery, and Jordan Skaggs
