VFW Memorial Day Program

By Joe Hare, Commander

The public is invited to the annual VFW Memorial Day program on Sunday, 26 May 2019. The program begins at 2:30pmCT at the VFW post located at 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia.

As we remember all our lost comrades, this year we will be putting emphasis on our Prisoners of War and Missing in Action brothers and sisters. This will be achieved by a formal instillation of the POW/MIA Table by a group of Veterans, of the "US Veteran Motorcycle Club" from Bowling Green, KY.

The program is very emotional to veterans and I am sure to the public at large. It is not a lengthy program and will be held in our post hall, then we will move outside for our salute to our fallen brothers and sisters.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
