Jerry Lee Watson, 71, Casey Co., KY (1947-2019) Jerry loved sports, horse racing and fishing. He also loved his family. Jerry Lee Watson, of Casey County, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 71 years old. The funeral service will be held at 6pmET on Monday, May 20, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Reggie Tipton officiating. The family will receive friends from 4pmET to 6pmET on Monday, 20, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on September 11, 1947, in Liberty, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ardin D and Pauline Wheeler Watson. Jerry loved sports, horse racing and fishing. He also loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Janiave Murphy Black of Russell Springs; six daughters, Connie (Russell) Owens of Cincinnati, Ohio, Teri (Ronnie Means) Black of Liberty, Patricia Owens of Liberty, Paulette (Jim) Pittman of Columbia, Pamela (Wayne) Owens of Waynesburg and Tracy Black of Russell Springs. Other survivors include four sisters, Glenna Cantwell of Versailles, Indiana, Peggy (Robby) McIntosh of Elrod, Indiana, Jackie (John) Severs of Versailles, Indiana and Pam Cummins of Manchester, Indiana; three brothers, Gerald (Naomi) Watson of Dillsboro, Indiana, Johnny Watson of Brookville, Indiana, and Paul Watson of Sunman, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Paula Taylor; and a brother, Joey Watson. In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
