Letter From An Online Reader

This article first appeared in issue 39, and was written by Shawn Hadley.

Dear Columbia! Magazine:

I just wanted to drop a note to let you guys know how great it is having the "Columbia Magazine Online" as a resource. (

I travel a lot and it is great to be able to check out the magazine from anywhere in the world.

Since leaving Columbia in 1988 I have lived in Lexington, Kentucky and Venice, Italy. Now I travel for work all over Europe, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, & Singapore.

It is very comforting at times to know that no matter where I am I can be transported back to the goings on of Columbia with a couple of keystrokes.

Keep up the good work and know that even us "goers" (as Chris Rowe mentioned in his article "Coming Home" like to keep a connection with our roots.
