Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Thu 9 May 2019

Indictments brought against 7 individuals from Louisville, Russell Springs, Jamestown, and Columbia, KY on charges including bail jumping, possession, assault, flight, wanton endangerment, DUI, and trafficking.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Thursday, 9 May 2019:

  • Joseph A. Elders, 7th St., Louisville, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00095. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Bail jumping, 1st degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. No bond. Arraignment 5/28/2019 at 9amCT.

  • Marion D. Fisher, Sulphur Creek Rd., Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00096. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Assault, 3rd degree. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Disorderly conduct, 1st degree. Bail set at $5,000 cash. Arraignment 5/14/2019 at 9amCT.

  • David S. Corbin, N. Hwy. 55, Jamestown, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00097. Charged with 19 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 5 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 7 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 8 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 9 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 10 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 11 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 12 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 13 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 14 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 15 - Speeding, 26+MPH over limit. Count 16 - Disregarding a stop sign. Count 17 - Reckless driving. Count 18 - Improper passing. Count 19 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Bail set at $10,000 cash. Arraignment 5/28/2019 at 9amCT.

  • Erik W. Thompson, Bird Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00098. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash with MCR. Arraignment 5/28/2019 at 9amCT.

  • Clifton Daniel Bault, Cane Valley Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00099. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, aggravating circumstance, 2nd offense. Count 4 - Driving DUI suspended license, 1st offense, aggravating circumstance. Bail set at $5,000 cash. Arraignment 5/14/2019 at 9amCT.

  • Lonnie L. Mann, Marshall St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00100. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - One headlight. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR. Arraignment 5/28/2019 at 9amCT.

  • Troy E. Harris, G. Stephens Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00101. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or subsequent offense, >2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Count 4 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bail set at $10,000 cash. Arraignment 5/14/2019 at 9amCT.

  • David S. Corbin, N. Hwy. 55, Jamestown, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00102. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Marijuana cultivation, more than 5 plants, 2nd or subsequent offense. Bail set at $2,000 cash. Arraignment 5/28/2019 at 9amCT.
