KSP: Green Co. traffic stop leads to three drug arrests By Tpr. Nick Hale Green County, KY - On Sunday, May 5, 2019, at approximately 8:16amCT, Trooper Clint Bale was on routine patrol on Penitentiary Bend Road when he initiated a traffic stop on a 2004 Nissan Maxima for a traffic violation. Tpr. Bale made contact with the driver of the vehicle, 25 year old Jessica Jones of Columbia, KY. Consent to search the vehicle was given resulting in Tpr. Bale locating marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription drugs, digital scales and plastic bags. Jones was arrested and charged with failure to wear seat belts, operating vehicle with expired operator license, failure to produce insurance card, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd (> 2 grams methamphetamine, complicity), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree- drug unspecified, and tampering with physical evidence. Two passengers were also arrested. Joshua Judd, age 30, of Greensburg, KY, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd (> 2 grams methamphetamine, complicity), and promoting contraband. Dustin Jones, age 34, of Greensburg, KY, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd (> 2 grams methamphetamine, complicity) and was also arrested on an outstanding parole violation warrant. All subjects were lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center. NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt.
