Donnie Cox, 66, Campbellsville, KY (1953-2019)

Donnie Cox of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Bardstown. He was 66 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, with Rev. Earl West officiating. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Monday.


Donnie Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Lester L. Cox and Ruth Gore Cox was born January 9, 1953 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:35 A.M., Friday, April 26, 2019 in Bardstown at the age of 66.

He had professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church when he was able.

Donnie struggled with mental illness most of his life.

He is survived by one daughter, Renee Cox.

He is also survived by one brother, Larry G. Cox; one nephew, Ben Cox and wife, Shannon and one niece, Lorna Bush and husband Greg all of Campbellsville.

PALLBEARERS: Greg Bush, Ben Cox, Glenn Cox, Joe Cox, Steve Harvey, Gene Knifley.
