Gentle yoga training to be offered in the region By Linda Waggener Yoga training classes were offered by Marshall University at the Adair County Health Department last week, preparing leaders who can offer the healthy stretches and breathing exercises locally. Janet Cowherd, the LCDHD diabetes educator, was the organizer of the training and will be able to answer questions and provide contact information for certified trainers in Adair, Green, Russell, Cumberland, Casey and Clinton Counties. Betty Knifley, already a trainer in Adair County, offers yoga classes each Monday and Wednesday at 4pmCT at the Extension Office on Fairground Street.
