Letter: Rodney L Thompson, Sr remembers Ed Waggener

Rodney L Thompson Sr writes:
For medical reasons I was not able to attend Ed's visitation but I was a member of the Jamestown Street gang in the 50s and knew the Waggener family very well - actually worked for them several times delivering the CJ and the Louisville Times delivery days.

Ralph Roy and I worked together many days. I was very sorry to hear Ed had passed away and I extend my condolences to you and your family. I have many memories of Ed, even the one where his car was taken to the basement at one of the Lindsey Wilson buildings, I can't remember what type car it was, ha ha. --Rodney

Rodney, your thoughts and fun memories are truly appreciated by our family. Ed's little car that was taken to the basement of the Administration Building when he was a student at Lindsey Wilson was an Izetta - click this link for a picture of it that was sent to him a few years back by his sister Jean. - Linda
