CAC-VFD: Overnight house fire on Buel Collins Rd By Donald Hare The Columbia-Adair County Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call that came in at 11:50pmCT on Friday night, March 1, 2019, to a very large residence at 1021 Buel Collins Road. Upon firefighters arrival, fire was coming from the roof. The house, which belonged to Willard Fudge, was a total loss. There were 16 firemen from Adair County Fire on the scene for almost 4 hours.
