LWC Men's Bowling at MSC Championships By Christopher Coombs Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team wrapped up the first day of competition at the Mid-South Conference Championships with the singles and doubles championships on Friday at Southern Lanes. Tyler Moore was the top Blue Raider finisher in the single portion of the competition after knocking down 968 pins to capture sixth place. He bowled two games over the 200 pin plateau. Jonah Anderson finished in 10th place after racking up 963 pins across his five games, bowling a game-high 202. Brandon Pendley took 15th place with 942 pins as Chris Burden finished in 20th place with 922 total pins. Tanner Goodman, Andy O'Dell, Zach Long and Alex Price also competed in the individual portion of the championship, finishing in 49th, 50th, 61st and 65th, respectively. Anderson and Moore teamed up in doubles action to just miss the podium in fourth place after knocking over 1,931 total pins. The total was just two pins off two Martin Methodist (Tenn.) pairings who tied for second with 1,933 pins. Pendley and Goodman managed to capture 13th place after combining to bowl over 1,803 pins. Burden and Price finished in 26th place of the double competition as Long and O'Dell recorded a 29th place finish. Cumberlands (Ky.) swept the Singles and Doubles Awards. The team of Andy Campbell and Bryce Frantz took home the doubles title, while Campbell won the men's singles stepladder event. The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday as the team bracket competition begins at 9amCT.
