Logan Smith, 66, Green County, KY (1952-2019) He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Adair County, KY. Logan Smith departed this life Friday, February 8, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, having attained the age of sixty-six years, seven months and twenty-eight days. His funeral Service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, Greensburg, KY, 12noonCT Friday, Feb. 15, 2019. Wake and Visitation from 9amCT until the funeral hour. Ministers will be Rev. Mike Caldwell and Rev. David Mitchell. Burial will follow the service in the Bridgewater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery. Pallbearers: Shane Poynter, Brad Taylor, Michael Ingram, Terrence (Ty) Smith, Earl Barnett and Ronnie Graves. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Cowherd, Greg Caldwell, George Johnson, Jr., Randy Taylor, George Ray Bailey, Lee Allen Graves, Ricky Groves, Timmy Groves and Cameron Smith. He was born June 10, 1952 in Green County, KY to Belknap and Mary Cordelia Logan Smith. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Adair County, KY. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Robert Smith, Lettie Pearl Caldwell, James Henry Smith, John Ike Smith, Raymond Smith, William Louis Smith, Mary Lucy Barnett and Anna Smith. He is survived by two daughters: Christy Smith Davis and her husband Freeman of Louisville and Melissa Taylor of Campbellsville, one brother: Jewell Smith and his wife Norlene of Richmond, nine grandchildren, plus a host of nieces and nephews.
