Mary Louise Griffin, 87, native of Adair County, KY (1931-2019) She was a native of Adair County, KY born in the Purdy community to Finis and Edna Wilkerson Burton. She married and made her home in Texas and she is survived by a son and a daughter and their families. Mary Louise Griffin, age 87, of Whitesboro, TX, formerly of Paris, TX passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 1pm at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Justin Wideman officiating. No formal visitation has been set. She was born August 24, 1931 in Purdy, KY to Finis and Edna Wilkerson Burton. She married Donald Joe Griffin of Paris, TX on October 6, 1956. Mary worked for many years as a secretary for General Adjustment Bureau in Paris. She is survived by her son, James T. Griffin and wife Helen; and her daughter Donna Kay Stanley and husband Joe of Gilmer, TX; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sister Marcella Eaton and brothers Kenneth and Van Keith Burton.
