Gay Morris, 77, Adair County, KY (1941-2019) She attended Egypt Christian Church and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Westlake Regional Hospital for 30 years. She was an in-home caretaker after she left the hospital. Gay Morris, 77, of the Egypt community, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Jason Lacy officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Cemetery on Bull Run Road. Visitation is after 10amCT Sunday. She was born July 29, 1941 in Breeding, Kentucky, to the late James Holland and Inez Scott Lacy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Keith Morris on October 9, 1984. Gay attended Egypt Christian Church and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Westlake Regional Hospital for 30 years and an in-home caretaker after she left the hospital. Survivors include: Four sons - Patrick Morris of Breeding, Jeffrey Morris and his wife Lisa of Columbia, Timothy Ray Morris of Breeding, Adam Morris of Columbia Two brothers - Horace Lacy and his wife Nancy of Louisville, Gerry Lacy and his wife Martha of Breeding Four grandchildren - Bryan Morris, Devin Morris, Brooke Wade, Brittany Grant One great-grandchild - Chloe Morris Several other relatives and friends Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
