LWC Track and Field claim host of victories at Anderson Invitational By Clayton Barefield Anderson, IN - The Lindsey Wilson men's indoor track and field program took home a host of victories at the Anderson University Invitational on Saturday. The Blue Raiders notched 10 individual victories as well as two team victories, which included four A-standards. Goabaone Mosheleketi snagged two victories and two A-standards in the long jump and the triple jump. Mosheleketi finished the long jump with a distance of 7.34 meters and finished the triple jump with a distance of 14.43 meters. Lindsey Wilson was able to sweep the long jump event with Holt Keeling placing second with a distance of 6.78 meters and Mishi Easterling finishing in third with a distance of 6.66 meters. Kevin Hallmon was also able to claim two victories and two A-standards in the 60 meter and 200-meter dash events. Hallmon managed a time of 6.77 seconds during the 60-meter and recorded a time of 21.86 seconds during the 200-meter event. The 60-meter dash was swept by LWC with Christian Davis and Keeling finishing in second and third, respectively. The Blue Raiders also swept the 200-meter dash with Keeling taking second with a time of 22.46 and Christian Whitehead finishing third with a final time of 23.10. Whitehead was able to pull away with a victory in the 400 =-meter dash with a time of 51.01 as well. Caleb Watson finished the 8000meter run with a time of 2:04.22 to claim a victory in the event with Aaron Mattingly winning the 1000 meter run with a final time of 2:45.81. Levi Owens grabbed a victory as well during the one mile run finishing the event with a time of 4:36.49. Lindsey Wilson swept the one mile run with Jim Headrick finishing second in a time of 4:37.73 and Jordan Tucker finishing third in a time of 4:50.21. Anthony Hampton finished the weight throw with a distance of 14.12 meters to grab the top spot in the event. Jonathon Long rounded out the Blue Raider individual wins in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:23.09. As a team, Lindsey Wilson grabbed victories in the distance medley and 4x400 relay. During the distance medley, the Blue Raiders recorded a time of 11:16.65. LWC would then claim the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:26.25.
