4-H Scholarships applications accepted at Extension Office

Adair County 4-H Council is pleased to offer $2,000 worth of scholarships each year to support continuing education for graduating seniors. For more information about these scholarship opportunities contact the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service at 409 Fairground Street in Columbia.



Adair County 4-H Scholarships
The Adair County 4-H Council is proud to be able to offer two $500 Scholarships to deserving 4-H members. These scholarships can be used at a two-year or four-year institution. This scholarship was started to help an active 4-H member with their continuing education expenses. The main criteria this scholarship will be based upon is 4-H participation.

Adair County 4-H Country Ham Scholarships
The Adair County 4-H offers up to two $250.00 scholarships to outstanding youth who have participated in the 4-H Country Ham Project for at least three years and who will be attending an institution of higher education.

Dwight Rich Adair County 4-H Shooting Sports Scholarship
The Adair County 4-H Shooting Sports Program is proud to announce the Dwight Rich Adair County 4-H Shooting Sports Scholarship. There will be one $500.00 Scholarship awarded to a deserving 4-H member. This scholarship can be used at a two-year or four-year institution. This scholarship is established in memory of Dwight Rich, a dedicated 4-H shooting sports coach, and supporter. The main criteria for this scholarship is based on 4-H Shooting Sports participation. To be eligible you must have participated in the 4-H Shooting Sports program for at least two years and be currently active in the Shooting Sports program.
Educational programs of Kentucky Cooperative Extension serve all people regardless of economic or social status and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, national origin, creed, religion, political belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, marital status, genetic information, age, veteran status, or physical or mental disability.
