Super Bowl Sunday 2019 - a rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI

By Doug Beard

My first Super Bowl was XXXVI in New Orleans. The New England Patriots defeated the (St. Louis) Rams 20-17. The preliminary music and the half-time show were pretty incredible. The most important highlight of the day was the remembrance of those who had lost their lives and honoring the first responders on 9/11, only a few months prior. It was a great show of the "American Spirit" and I'll always remember being a part of that special tribute! -Doug
