I love reading others memories of Knifley, the place of my birth. The house where my brother and I were born is still there, spared from the destruction so many structures of Old Knifley met in the name of progress.

Seems a shame more couldn't have been spared when I haven't seen water over so much of the land claimed for the lakeway. I guess I don't understand the ways of engineering, at any rate I wasn't consulted about the matter. The fact is Old Knifley is past but my memories remain and that's nice. --Patty
