Elder Abuse Council hosts Lori Farris 31 Jan 2019

By Patricia Harper, RN, area director, Elder Abuse Council

Speaker Lori Farris of the Attorney General's Office of Senior Protection and Mediation will be our speaker on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Our meeting is set from 10amCT to 12noonCT at the LCADD in Russell Springs, KY.

This month's subject does not only pertain to our elderly, but is important knowledge for our community. So I would encourage you to be present or send a representative to bring this information back to your agencies and local communities!

Ms. Farris received the National Association of Attorneys General Career Staff of the Year Award after being nominated by Attorney General Andy Beshear in June of 2018. Beshear was quoted saying, "On a daily basis Lori's tireless work has saved so many families from the financial devastation con artists can cause."

She has also assisted in bank teller trainings in our area to help train banks in scams and exploitation.
