Business news: Reed is new CEO of Shoreline Communications By Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com Alan Reed has been hired as the new CEO of Shoreline Communications, Inc. The announcement was made today by owners Mike and Laura Harris at the corporation's administrative headquarters on the square in Columbia. Beginning February 1, 2019, employees of Campbellsville's 99.9 The Big Dawg, Columbia/Russell Springs' 92.7 The Wave, and Liberty's 98.7 The Buck will look to Reed for leadership, freeing Mike Harris to spend more time on his law practice. Reed, a Casey County native, has enjoyed a lifetime career in broadcast communications in this region and in education as a teacher, principal and as superintendent of Adair County Schools.
