Traffic accident on the Bypass in Columbia leaves two injured By Columbia Police Department Chief Jason Cross On January 4, 2019 at approximately 6:28pm, the Columbia Police Department responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Burkesville street and the south 55 bypass. The accident occurred when a 2015 Nissan Rogue operated by Beverly Adams failed to stop at the light and struck a 2001 Toyota Tundra operated by Anthony Cowan of Columbia. Anthony Cowan was transported by AdAir County EMS to TJ Samson hospital. A passenger in the Cowan vehicle was transported by private vehicle to TJ Health Columbia where both were treated and released. The accident was investigated by Columbia Police Officer John Dial assisted by Officer Jordan Dean and Adair County Emergency Services. This story was posted on 2019-01-08 07:41:27
