Frances Adalene Bolin, 89, Jamestown, KY (1929-2018)

Frances Adalene Bolin, 89, of Jamestown passed away on Monday December 24th at the Russell County Hospital.

Funeral Services will be at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St, Jamestown, KY on Saturday December 29, 2018, at 1pmCT, with Bro. Michael Carnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.

Friends may visit on Friday, December 28, 2018, after 5pmCT at the funeral home.


She was born in Jamestown, KY March 2, 1929 a daughter of the late Ada Pearl (Mann) and Stanley Marcum.

She is survived by
  • Daughter Betty (Wayne) Gaskins, of Russell Springs, KY
  • Son Kenton Bolin, of Jamestown, KY
  • Four brothers, Keith and Mitchell Marcum, both of Jamestown, KY, Doug Marcum of Russell Springs, KY, and Cyrus Marcum, of IL
  • Four grandchildren, Mark and Austin Bolin, Jill Adamson, and Brian Gaskins.
  • Two step-grandchildren Dewayne Bolin and Belinda Wooldridge.
  • Seven great grandchildren
  • Nine step-great-grandchildren
  • One step-great-great-grandchild
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Bolin, a daughter Joyce Bolin and a son Jerry Bolin, two sisters Julie Coe, and Kay Skinner two brothers Forest and Roy Marcum.
