Columbia traffic stop leads to arrest NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual placed under arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Sgt. JR Murphy Columbia Police Department On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, a Columbia woman was arrested as a result of a traffic stop within the city limits of Columbia. 26-year-old Tara Corbin of Columbia was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition Shoplifting u/500.
