LWC Wrestling begins conference schedule on the road By Clayton Barefield The No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team is set to open up their Mid-South Conference schedule with two meets on the road. The first meet is scheduled for 11amCT at Southeastern (FL) on Saturday with the second meet scheduled for 9amCT at Brewton-Parker (GA) on Monday. The Blue Raiders are coming off a 27-12 road victory over NCAA D II Bellarmine (KY) back on Dec. 6. Lindsey Wilson is set to compete with the potential for 12 different wrestlers in the lineup for both duals. Cagen Wallace, Brady Moser, Trent Johnson, Austin Ramsey, Mark Taijeron, Derrick Smallwood, Brett Bradford, Austin Deffenbaugh, Lucas Miozza, Avery Buckman, Brandon Reed, and Raynel Brown are the Blue Raiders listed for both duals. Southeastern is ranked No. 14 in the NAIA after an unbeaten performance at the Newberry Duals in South Carolina back on Dec. 2. The Fire opened up their conference schedule with a 1-0 record over Campbellsville (KY) after defeating the Tigers 27-12. Brewton-Parker is returning to action after falling to Life (Ga.) 27-18 at home on Dec. 7. The Barons are 0-3 against conference opponents so far this season.
