More students use e-cigs, officials seek remedy By Valarie Honeycutt Spears, Lexington Herald-Leader The national increase in teenagers smoking e-cigarettes is upending Kentucky high schools as well, with disciplinary incidents increasing and adults struggling to address the health concerns. According to the FDA, the number of U.S. high school students who reported being current e-cigarette users increased 78 percent between 2017 and 2018 to 3.05 million.
