Remembering Adair County native Lenwood Gore Lenwood Gore who grew up in Adair County, son of Columbia Candy Company owner Dagwood Gore, will be honored with services today at 1pmCT at Russell Springs Christian Church with visitation now until the time of service. He became a pharmacy owner in Russell County, was an Elder and Chair of Deacons of Russell Springs Christian Church, an original board member of Russell County Hospital, a charter member of Russell County JayCees, past president of Lakewood Country Club, Pharmacist Representative on Russell County Health Board, along with many other community activities he devoted his time to. Lynwood Gore was just in Adair County a year and a month ago when he came to emcee the ACHS Class of 1962 50-year reunion. Click this link to revisit the story.
