Accident in Columbia reported - please drive carefully!

Drivers are advised to slow down in the area of Hwy 55 South and the Veterans Memorial Bypass in Columbia where a two-vehicle accident has just been called in. Visibility is low, festival traffic is heavy and rain is pouring, so everyone heading around Columbia today, please drive cafefully.

Lake Goodwill

Saturday morning heavy rain left many puddles and ponds around Columbia. This one, maybe large enough to be called a small lake, met shoppers and those of us dropping off items at the Goodwill store. The photo looks out over the Walmart parking lot toward the parkway. Spots like this remind us to slow down and drive more carefully.
