Annual Christmas in Columbia Carnival will be at LWC

By B.J. Steinhilber for Abe Cross, LWC Holloway Health & Wellness Center

The Lindsey Wilson College Recreation, Tourism and Sport Management program and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce present the 8th annual Christmas Carnival featuring the Songs of Christmas on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

The Columbia community is invited to partake in the fun and games, including inflatables, Storybook Village, ornament and cookie decorating, and caroling. New and returning vendors alike will be set up to offer a variety of local goods.

A free giveaway for a girls and boys bike will also take place, along with other items that will be raffled off throughout the day. Santa and Mrs. Claus are scheduled to visit from 1:30pm to 3:30pm; photographs with Santa will be available.

"We are so happy to host the Christmas Carnival again this year," said Holloway Health & Wellness Center Director Abe Cross. "Our students learn to give back to our local community, and our local community is exposed to the high-quality students that we have here. It is such a great opportunity to get everyone in the Christmas spirit."

The Christmas Carnival is scheduled from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Holloway Health and Wellness Center on Lindsey Wilson's campus. For more information, contact Abe Cross at crossa@lindsey.edu.
