We have guests ~ thank them for stopping by

By Linda Waggener

Deer hunters have come to Adair County, Kentucky from several surrounding states as the season kicks into gear today. Hunters from Texas and Mississippi returned for a second year in a row to eat with members of Hood Lodge in their annual fundraiser breakfast.

Wooded hills in all sections of the county are popular places for hunting and many acres are leased out for that purpose. Watch for the bright orange hats the hunters wear and we hope hunters and non-hunters will put safety first.

These hungry hunters came to Kentucky to deer hunt from Texas and Mississippi. They are back for a second year in a row to eat with us at Hood Lodge’s deer hunters breakfast. We really appreciate them and all who came out. - TB
