Bring proof of identification with you to vote

Not sure where to vote? Google: Where do I vote?

By Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk

Today is Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th, 2018. Voters please remember to bring proof of identification with you to vote.

Even though an election officer can confirm the identity of a voter by personal acquaintance, the election officer may not be able to identify you; therefore, please be prepared to show identification by the following ways pursuant to KRS 117.227:
  • Personal acquaintance with an election officer
  • Driver's License (does not have to be a KY-issued DL)
  • Social Security Card
  • Credit Card
  • Other ID, any ID card with picture and signature of voter; any Kentucky state government-issued ID card; and any United States government-issued ID card.
