Nude trucker jailed on drug charges in Graves Co.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office arrested a Washington, D.C., man on DUI and drug charges after receiving a call from a regional trucking firm that one of its trucks and the driver was missing. Chief Sheriff's Deputy Davant Ramage said deputies received a call from D2 Express Inc. on Wednesday in an attempt to locate a semi-truck that had been traveling Interstate 69 near Mayfield.

Company officials said they could not make contact with him. Deputies located the truck and the driver, Lawrence McCrimmon, 55, at the 18-mile marker. The deputies reported that McCrimmon was nude inside the truck and under the influence of an intoxicating substance.
