Looking At Other Towns After Revitalization Efforts May Help Planners For Downt

This article first appeared in issue 3, and was written by Linda Waggener. The full title appeared as: Looking at other towns after revitalization efforts may help planners for downtown.

Bobby Morrison, who travels extensively in his position of leadership at Osh Kosh 'By Gosh, suggested that if any trips are taken to see how other towns are handling their revitalization, that Carry, North Carolina and the Reweigh area are places to see.

"Those towns have regulations which have resulted in making them very beautiful and inviting areas," he says.

Mayor Curtis Hardwick is considering taking a group of interested Adair Countians to Mt. Sterling, Kentucky which has been getting publicity for its revitalization successes.
