Thomas Robertson, 72, Russell Springs, KY (1945-2018)

He was a Veteran of US Army, a truck driver for Stephens Pipe & Steel and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

Thomas "Tommy" Robertson, 72, of Russell Springs, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home.

The funeral service for Thomas "Tommy" Robertson will be 10amCT on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jim Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the New Friendship United Baptist Church cemetery, with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 6pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday, October 12, 2018, and from 8amCT on Saturday until the funeral time at 10amCT.


He was born on October 31, 1945 in Russell County to the late Albert & Eva Cooper Robertson. He was a Veteran of US Army, a truck driver for Stephens Pipe & Steel and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Foley and a brother, Albert Neil Robertson.

Survivors include:
  • His wife, Lynn Robertson, of Russell Springs, KY
  • Three children, Anthony (Missi) Robertson, Chris (Shirley) Robertson, and Ashley Robertson, all of Russell Springs, KY
  • Six grandchildren
  • Five great-grandchildren
  • One brother, Walter Max (Kathy) Robertson, of Russell Springs, KY
Pallbearers: Chad Robertson, Josh Robertson, David Foley, Doug King, Greg Jasper, Merv Nissley
