The Adair County Genealogical Society, Membership renewal is due in January of each year. Meetings are held at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg St. Columbia, KY, on the first Monday night of each month, at 6:00pmCT.The Adair County Review is a quarterly publication of the Adair County Genealogical Society. It is published in the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. it is received by all members of the Society. Gary D. Jones, Field Representative for the KY Dept of Veterans Affairs, will be available to assist veterans in Adair County at the Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, every second Monday from 9:00am-12pmNoonCT. Veterans and their families will be provided counseling and assistance in filing claims for state and federal benefits. This is a free service provided by the state of Kentucky.
