Chamber Golf Tournament is June 18, 2009 at The Pines
The 7th Annual Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at1:00pmCT, at the The Pines at Lindsey Wilson, 275 Country Club Road, Columbia, KY. Rain date June 25, 2009.
The cost to play is $35.00 per person-and the price is well worth the money! Not only will you get to enjoy a fun day of golfing, chances to win prizes on individual holes, and the top three teams will take home prize money. Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of this great event!
The tournament will be a blind draw scramble with a pairing of all A Players. Anyone interested in playing in the scramble can sign up now. Players must be signed up by 12:00noonCT. A packed Roberta Cranmer Dining Center was the site of the Annual Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Banquet, tonight, Tuesday, April 21, 2009, with President Donna Stotts presiding.
The principal speaker for the evening was the honorable Justice Daniel J. Venters, Kentucky Supreme Court Third Supreme Court District, who was introduced by District Judge Mike Loy of Columbia, KY.

Tickets available for April 21, 2009 C-AC Chamber banquet

Tickets for the Chamber Banquet are now available at the Chamber office. The price is $15.00 per person, the same as last year. No tickets will be sold at the door. Your ticket will be used for drawing of door prizes. Write your name on the back of the ticket as soon as you purchase it. At the banquet, you will drop your ticket in a container at the door.
Stop by the Chamber Office, make your reservations and purchase your tickets. The last day to make reservations and get tickets is 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

500 Free Redbud seedlings at Chamber Building, April 10, 2009
Southern and Eastern Kentucky Tourism Development Association has proclaimed April as Redbud Month. The Columbia-Adair County Chamber and Tourism Board of Directors are celebrating April as redbud month. Again this year, redbud seedlings will be given away to those who want to help beautify Adair County by planting redbuds. The redbuds are scheduled to be given out in front of the Chamber building, located at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY on Friday, April 10, 2009, beginning at 10:00amCT. here will only be 500 to give away this year and will be given, on a "first come - first served" basis.-SUE STIVERS
