Ronnie W. Blackwell, 68, Columbia, KY (1955-2024) Ronnie Wayne Blackwell of Columbia passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at T. J. Health Columbia. He was 68 years old. Funeral services will be held at NoonCT on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Rev. Ricky Shirley and Rev. Kenny Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday after 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Ronnie was born on September 6, 1955, in Adair County to the late Robert Sr. and Ruth William Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was a graduate of Campbellsville University. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his siblings, twin Rannie Blackwell of Columbia, KY, Marilyn Blackwell, and Sharon Brown both of Louisville, KY, Charlie Blackwell of Louisville, KY, Dale Blackwell of Columbia, KY, Keith Blackwell of Louisville, KY, and Kelly Blackwell (Elizabeth) of Louisville, KY; an Aunt Lucille Graves of Fairplay, KY and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings Judy Lewis, Ruth Ann Blackwell, and Robert Blackwell, Jr. Pallbearers will be his brothers and nephews.
