Active weather again Wednesday, flood watch in effect

The National Weather Service in Louisville says that "Another active day of storms is on tap. The severe weather and flood threat extends through both the daylight and overnight hours, with some potentially significant severe weather possible," including the chance of damaging straight line winds, large hail, and tornadoes.

Today's high will be near 80F, with south wind 8 to 13 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90%. A Flood Watch is in effect until 7amCT on Thursday, May 9, 2024 for an area that includes Adair and all surrounding counties.
