Richard Marvin Foley, Russell County, KY Richard Marvin Foley, born April 30, 1951 passed from this life on April 23, 2024. The son of the late Albert and Desria Foley, he was retired from Lake Cumberland State Park and was an avid farmer. He had proclaimed his faith in Christ and was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church in Russell Springs. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Audrey Spivey, father in law, Bob Spivey, and brothers in law, Michael Elliott and Jeff Wilson. Survivors include: His wife of 26 years: Lana Katherine Spivey Foley of Russell Springs. His children: Timothy Albert Foley and wife, Robyn, of Adair County, Ginny Rose Thomas and husband, Matt, and Regina Haugen, all of Russell Springs. Four grandchildren: Lucas Thomas and Tyler Thomas of Russell Springs and Kenna Grace and Tenley Faith Foley of Adair County. A sister-in-law, Patsy Elliott, of Russell Springs A brother in law, Robert Spivey, of Russell Springs Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12noonCT at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Officiating Clergy: Bro. Delvin Wilson and Dwight Coffman. Interment will be in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Thomas, Sam Baker, Michael Roy, Barry McElroy, Phil Austin, and Trey Spinks. Honorary pallbearers: Ted Loy, staff of Russell County Hospital and Hospice of Lake Cumberland, and members of Mt Olive Baptist Church. Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
